Meet Pastor Vernon Earl Evans
Senior Pastor & Founder
Pastor Vernon Earl Evans is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Sound Doctrine Christian Church a non-denominational Ministry. SDCC is on a Kingdom Assignment to preach and teach Kingdom Principles while declaring the Lord is the King who rules and reigns over all. Pastor Evans teaches and preaches with passion and urgency of kingdom principles and demonstration. Pastor Evans, is married to Co-Founder and Pastor Christie McKinney-Evans. Pastor Vernon is the sixth child to the late Rev. Joseph L. Evans and Margaret A. Evans, a father to 8 children and 8 grandchildren. Pastor Evans has served in the Ministry for over 30 years with a history of preaching and teaching the Gospel and a unique style in the Music Ministry.

Christie McKinney-Evans' life is dedicated to prayer, marriage ministry, and women’s ministry. Over the past two decades, she has created, taught and ministered in Children & Youth Ministry in Arkansas, Tennessee and Chicago.
